My first time working with Paloma and I’m OBSESSED with this stone! The veins in this are just stunning! I often see Paloma listed as a turquoise, but it’s not quite…. Copper is the mineral that makes turquoise blue, and while both stones are aluminum phosphates, variscite is missing the copper. And that’s how it stays green rather than hues of blue! So when you see Paloma or Palomino, just know they are actually variscites!
Always hand set in sterling and fine silver, stamped .925 and my maker’s mark. All chains are sterling. Total length on this necklace is a hair under 20”.Center cluster is about 1 1/8” tall, by a little over 1 3/4” wide. 🩵
